Julia
Dr. Julia Hasenbank

Veterinarian / Owner

Dr. Julia Hasenbank has been practicing for 18 years. She grew up in Scottville, Michigan, and planned to become a veterinarian from an early age. After high school, she attended Michigan State University, where she received a BS in Animal Science in 2001 and later a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She practiced at a mixed animal clinic for 10 years and moved back to West Michigan for another 8 years before becoming the owner of Hart Animal Clinic.

She enjoys building relationships with clients and helping guide pet owners in providing a long, healthy life for their pets through clear communication and education. She has a special interest in surgery and internal medicine.

She enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband, Chris, her children, Grace and Wesley, as well as their three cats, Bob, Grey, and Cookie. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, home renovation, running, and hiking.

Dr. Susanne Marshall

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Susanne Marshall has been practicing for 30 years. She attended school at Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1993. She takes pride in the high-quality care she provides to her patients and being compassionate to both owner and patients. She has a special interest in dermatology.

In her free time, she travels, does needlepoint, and solves puzzles. She hopes to garden more, especially roses.

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Troy Marshall has been practicing for 29 years. He attended school at Olivet College for his undergraduate studies until 1989. Later, he attended the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1994. He strives for good client communication and has a special interest in both surgery and dentistry.

In his free time, he does hunting, fishing, outdoor work such as, gardening and cutting wood, swimming, and bike riding.

Ellen Lambrix, LVT

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Ellen has been practicing for 47 years as an LVT and 57 years working in the veterinary field. She completed school at Michigan State University and Ferris State University. She loves caring for clients, having the ability to multitask, developing personal relationships, and being there for her clients during difficult times, such as euthanasias.

When she is not busy working, she enjoys cooking, reading, spending time with hergrandkids, and watching sports.

Holly Peeraer
Holly Peeraer, LVT

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Holly has been practicing for 14 years as an LVT and 18 years working in the veterinary field. She completed school at Baker College in Muskegon. She loves providing client service, education, and compassionate patient care. She has a special interest in surgery, including monitoring, patient care, and educating clients at the time of discharge from the clinic.

In her free time, she enjoys kayaking and completing artistic projects.

Veterinary Assistant/ Client Service Representative

Shelby started working in the veterinary field in January 2023, and she has been an animal lover her whole life and has always wanted to care for animals. She is dedicated to caring for all animals and giving pet owners the peace of mind that their furbaby will be taken care of.

Shelby has always loved doing art, which has been a favorite free time activity since she was young, whether drawing, painting, or coloring. She enjoys being able to express her creative mind.

Customer Service Representative

Tara has been working in the veterinary field for 4 years. She completed school at West Shore Community College and Ferris State University. When it comes to veterinary medicine and/or taking care of patients, Tara strives to provide excellent customer service to clients and their fur babies.

In her free time, she cuddles with her cats and enjoys watching movies and TV.

Beckie has worked in the field for 29 years. She completed school at Muskegon Community College and Ross Medical Center.

She loves to provide compassionate, patient care and client education. In her free time, she enjoys bible study, prayer, gardening, hiking, snowshoeing, camping, foraging, kayaking, and cat lap for Fluff and Squirt (her cats at home).

In Their free time, Victoria loves being active in our community and coaching various Hart Rec Club Sports.

She shares her home with a very busy Labrador, Willow, and her cat, Cheeto.
